In commemoration of the 34th anniversary of AKESAN DAY, a leading aspirant for the office of AMORAN Chairman in Ogun State, Otunba Nurudeen Aina popularly known as 'ALOWONLE' has again done the usual. Alowonle, who had few weeks ago distributed over two thousand helmets to commercial riders across remo federal constituency, replicated the feat on Saturday, in the build up to the event when he further distributed a huge number of helmets to riders in Iperu to aid their safety.
Addressing newsmen after the distribution, Alowonle stated that the primary aim of the exercise was to aid safety, which according to him is the priority of life.
"I was once a commercial motorcycle rider and I so much value safety. It is my wish to replicate this feat across the twenty local governments in Ogun State. Before anything, we must see to the safety of our riders. I am not doing this primarily to earn fame, but to save lives. I have done this before, I am doing it now and I vow to do more", he said.
The young philanthropist and successful businessman later made grand entry to the venue of the 34th AKESAN DAY celebration in Iperu alongside Titilayo Akibu (Efele), Akeem Iyeru and the National President of ACOMORAN, Alhaji Shamsondeen Adebayo Apelogun (Allrounder).
