I am full of appreciation which words alone cannot express. I hold you all in a very high esteem.

What we have come to do here today is just a form of empowering our executive members and rewarding them for their steadfastness, loyalty and commitment to the course of the Union. It is my utmost belief that this will encourage them to do more. There is still a long way to go and I pray that the Almighty God will help us achieve the rest of our aims and objectives. This is not for show off. It's more like reaping the fruit of your labour", Alowonle said.

This is a eye opener and will go a long way in helping to encourage other Unions to follow suit. I also wish to plead with the leadership of this Union to avoid rancour and stop fanning the ember of discord among themselves. You all should learn to demonstrate maturity and deep sense of responsiblity. This is the key to ensure continuous progress of the Union. Once again, I congratulate all of you".

Hon. Biyi Adeleye commended the Chairman, Otunba Nurudeen Alowonle for living up to expectation. He described him as a round peg in a round hole, noting that without any iota of doubt, he will do more for members of the Union.
